Does Frank have a liquor license?

 

No - all soft drinks and alcohol are supplied by you so you get to source the best deals on your favourite wine or beer. 

How far can Frank travel? 

 

Frank calls the Yarra Valley , Victoria home but we love to get out on the road so just ask.  We can even stay the night and serve your recovering guests coffee in the morning.  Let us know your requirements and we're happy to discuss.

What drinks do you serve? 

 

Wine, spirits, beer (cans or small bottles only), champagne, soft drinks, your choice of any 2 cocktails - you supply, we pour.   We supply glasses, garnishes, ice etc.  We have fridges but we recommend you hire a cool room - try Valley Cool - 0401 830 380.   If you do get a coolroom, please have it close to where you want Frank to set up.  If you just have fridges, make sure that your drinks are chilled the day before.  We serve beer in cans or bottles - we do not supply glasses for beer.

Do I need to organise staff? 

No - we'll do all the work for you.  We will provide RSA qualified and experienced bar and barista staff based on your requirements .  We'll adjust the number of bar staff depending on the number of guests at your event (minimum 2 bar staff).

Where  can we park Frank ?

 

Send us a photo of your desired site and we'll let you know whether we can get Frank in or not.  We'll do our best to accommodate you and your wishes but sometimes we just can't park where you want us - on grass after rain, on a hill etc.

          

Do you need power?

Access to power (minimum one power point) is great but not necessary.  Frank can organise a generator as required (a small fee will be incurred).   We can supply power leads up to 50m.

Damages:

 

It happens!  The rule is ‘you break it you buy it”.

Do you have insurance?

Yes - we are insured for public liability up to 20M, are registered with WorkCover and our van is insured.

Payment and terms:

We require a 50% deposit (of the quoted fee) upon confirmation of the date.  This is fully refundable if 30 days notice of cancellation is given in writing no later than 30 days before your event date to enquiries@frank1964.com.au   If less than 30 days notice is given, your deposit is non-refundable.  And remember, until your deposit is received, your date is not confirmed!  The balance of your invoice will be payable 30 days before the date of the event.  

2 weeks notice is required for all dietary requirements and guest numbers at your event.  Numbers cannot be changed after this.

Yes we can accept credit cards (except American Express and Diners).  A 2.2% surcharge will apply.

 

Setting up:

We do all the work. Please tell us if your wedding is being held at the same place as the reception.  We need a bit of time setting up and this sometimes can be noisy.  If this is the case, we highly recommend you get us in earlier to set up.  A $100.00 fee will be charged but don't stress we are always ready on schedule and we can go through all of this with you. 

Let us know if you want to decorate Frank - he loves dressing up with balloons, flowers etc.  (no nails or tape).

At the end of the evening:

Frank loves a good party and we hate taking away glasses from your guest so we will supply biodegradable cups for the last half hour of service . Any alcohol left? We’ll pack up all the remaining alcohol and take it to an area previously designated by you where the party can continue.  Please note we only pick up drink related items (bottles, glasses etc) and you will need to have a person cleaning food scraps etc.

Accommodation:

            Where a wedding and recovery breakfast is required, please provide accommodation for 2 people.

Staff Meals:

 

Please provide meals for our staff as required.  This will be discussed when you confirm your booking.

What happens to our rubbish?

Please have a rubbish bin (landfill and recyclable wastes) available for empties.  It is your responsibility to dispose of bottles and general rubbish.  

Washing up?

No need to worry about washing glasses - we do that for you.
